I'm Kamara, and I specialize in creative approaches to leadership + organizational + campaign development.

A little about me: I grew up in San Francisco, where my father was (and still is) a union organizer with the hotel and restaurant union, UniteHere. I was on my first picket line at 19 days old and literally grew up in the labor movement.  Those early experiences of solidarity and power forever shaped my life's work.

After graduating from UC Berkeley (longer story short here), I organized for over ten years with the PICO National Network and UniteHere, building local and national campaigns to transform the criminal justice and public/private healthcare systems, while also earning my Masters of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary.

Today, I focus on supporting changemaking leaders and organizations with the creative strategy and capacity-building tools to reach your goals, with an emphasis on storytelling, visioning, deep relationship building, and a healthy dose of action.

I'd love to discuss your work! Please get in touch to chat!
